Boot Switch Ok But Wont Open

Hi I have a focus MK2 hatchback with the all too common wont open with the boot handle problem. It will open with the remote though. I now its not the switch as I had it apart last night and put a new switch on which didnt work I also crossed the 2 pins in the connection that the boot switch plugs into. Are the fuses to open it by the remote and boot handle different ? dont have the owners manual so cant check. Any ideas please

    Not sure about independent fuses for the boot handle but take a look here for you owners manual. Page 201 onwards gives you fuse description and layout. http://www.scribd.co...g3505en-05-2006
