Poor Air-Conditioning?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, got a little list of things that Ford need to sort out at my service next week (interior light, door seals and speaker rattle) but I've also noticed my air conditioning is pretty poor. I had an Astra as a courtesy car a short while back and I was frozen half to death with the air conditioning in that, my Fiesta just gets a bit cool rather than cold, is this normal or do I need to add this to the list too?

Thanks.

I think the fiestas air con just isn't the best really.

You could catch a cold from my dad's old corsa's air con, but now in our fiestas we always wish it was more powerful. It definatly doesn't give the same icy blast that we had got used to. (and we thought this from new so it's not that they need regassing)

It might just need a recharge. Air con gas does get low after a little while and needs to e topped up from time to time. They should be able to do that as part of a service or you can do it yourself using a recharge kit that would be a bit cheaper.
