i had an MOT done and there was a problem with the main headlights, the MOT tester tapped the lights with his fingers and the headlights came back on, that was the full beam the other lights worked, the MOT tester said it was a common fault and they would proberly do it again, he was unsure what the problem was, since then the main beam has gone again dose anybody know what the problem is and how to fix it, thanks for any help

    this happened to me before, new bulbs...double check of all connections and connectors sorted it.
