hi everyone, can anyone tell me if my 2010 focus 1.6 auto petrol would have a limp mode in the event of overheating etc. also is limp mode normal on most cars nowadays? regards kelsan

    The car will have a limp mode, but the events that trigger the cars ecu to activate it could be one of many things. Not sure if it would engage limp mode for overheating as you have a visual aid on the dash to see how hot the car is running.

    PS,,, Limp mode is VERY common on all newish cars.
