scottyb Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 i have a 57 plate fiesta 1.6 tdci that has suddenly produced light white smoke mostly on idle. i also noticed a diesel smell and around the injector on the far left as viewed from the front there is a oily black mess. i realise this is a leaking injector seal and needs replacing. do i have to replace all the seals on all 4 injectors? and is this the cause of my white smoke or is this another problem? DieselPig Posted September 28, 2012 Share Posted September 28, 2012 Scotty White smoke is unburnt diesel being chucked out the exhaust. I would replace all 4 seals.
