Replacing A Rear Panel

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I was recently in a collision (Nothing major at all) and had my rear upper panel dented. Must be 12cm x 4cm and 8mm deep. I took this to an auto-repair shop in Wavendon and they are asking for £1200 + VAT to repair the damages. This seems like extortionate amount for damages to a singular panel that doesn't need repainting or even a complete replacement.

Are there any better places to get this repaired for a lot cheaper? Where could I buy a new panel or where is the best place to go near Milton Keynes?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Damian

£1200? Jesus are they using gold hammers?

I reckon they've upped that quote at at least 4x.

A good bodyshop could probably pop that out without fuss.

As long as the paint is not damaged and the metal is not folded you may even be able to push most of it out yourself.
