Power Fold Mirror - Has Anyone Fitted A Non Genuine?

Featured Replies

I was wondering if anyone has had to replace a fiesta power fold mirror and if so is a non Ford part a good option?

The price I can get online is approximately £50-£60 for a non Ford part with a genuine mirror unit coming in at over £100. This is for a 2007 fiesta - mk6(I think!)

Maybe a stupid question but I was wondering if you have two different makes will there be a difference in the speed of the folding in of the mirror and the motor noise?

If anyone can advise it would be much appreciated.

For now the power fold option is disabled and I don't know if it's worth spending the money replacing the mirror as one was done under warranty when the car was 2 years old and the other one packed in when the car was 4 years old.
