Help Please! Boot Keeps Opening By Itself

hiya yesterday for some unknown reason my boot opened as i was sitting in my car at lunch, and now its got worse as soon as u pull away it opens or you can hear the latch going if its already open i am totally clueless of why its doing this my focus in normally 100% reliable , its a mk2 focus any help or advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks josh .

    Check the wires between the boot and the roof for breaks.

    That's the common problem.
