    Bathurst is a famous race track in Australia.

    The two main manufacturers in Aussie Touring Cars are Ford and General Motors (with their Holden brand).

    There is great rivalry (and great racing) at Bathurst, and to some fans it's almost a religion - Ford fans would never buy a GM and GM fans would never buy a Ford.

    The Vauxhall VXR8 (the V8 that Top Gear loves) is a rebadged Holden.

    But I'm not sure how many Vauxhall drivers would get the connection? Or how many Ford drivers?
