Ford Focus Mk2 - Body Kit

Featured Replies

Hi!

I've finally upgraded from my lal' Fiesta and bagged myself an 07 Focus Sport 1.6. Problem is I dont think it looks very sporty!

Basically the pictures below arent my car but what I would LOVE mine to look like. Ive already found the alloys, they are 7 spoke 18"ers from a Mk3 Mondeo Titanium (they are gorgeous); what im stumped on is the body kit.

Im 90% sure its aftermarket, I cant remember seeing a standard focus looking like that which brings me to my next question...any idea what it is? OR where I could go about looking? Ebay and Google have failed me thus far :(

Thanks!

Alright mate the body kit is by MS Design.

They pop up on ebay sometimes on auctions but very rarely, I missed out on one myself a while ago by 2quid.

Stay away from the many companies on ebay (mainly in poland) selling copies of just the front bumper valance in fibre glass. The genuine kits are plastic.

A member of the forums has actually fitted one himself already.

Here's his thread with photo's of it fitted.

Agreed, the Polish ones tend to be mouldings off original parts and are crap.

They take a hell of a lot of work to make them fit and are flimsy.

Best off paying a bit more and going to the guaranteed source.

Yup things like these for example:

Says in the description by purchasing you accept there may be some adaption/modification/trimming to fit. Heard that many stories of em just cracking n falling apart n being utter crap basically. No matter how much the sellers dress it up n say its the best quality fibreglass. Still just cheap crap at the end of the day.

A genuine kit will require no trimming or adaption n will fit straight on.

Also, a load of people will pop up claiming to sell the full kit, I've contacted a few of the sellers asing why the spoiler n sideskirt end caps was missing from the photo, they said what you see in the photo is what you get. Clearly not the full kit then as the full kit includes a spoiler, n the end caps are what makes the sideskirts n they would look silly without em n be blatant that they missing.
