Help Please Speaker Buzzing

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just picked up my new 2010 Fiesta Zetec, fantastic car. Everythings ok apart from a strange buzzing / humming sound form my speakers.

It happens as soon as you unlock the car door or turn the engine off, then a quiet buzz from all the speakers. It only stops when i double lock the car then 5 seconds later it the buzz stops ???

I thought it might have something to do with the bluetooth so i deactivated it but still buzzes.

Is this normal ?

Sounds like an internal fault with the headunit.

Does your car have Aircon? My car does exactly what you describe but the sound isn't coming from the speakers if from behind the headunit and caused by a little fan designed to measure the temperature for automatic aircon use. If you're sure it's the speakers then it's probably something else.

Oh is that what that sound is? Every time I get in the car I think I can hear really faint music, but obviously once I turn the engine on it goes.

I have this problem. Its a muffling sound from the speakers. I asked my dealer about it, but they simply just said that they could not hear anything. Rather annoying. Would love to know if there is a fix.
