Passanger Door Mirror Cost

Featured Replies

anyone know how much an electric passanger door mirror for a 2006 focus would be? im unsure if its heated or not

someone has tried to rip it off the car earlier this week and my dad tried to 'fix' it and broke it even more

the mirror part is ok, its just the plastic part where it bolts to the door that was cracked and now broken due to dad 'trying' to straighten it

Have a look on ebay they wont be alot about £25

dont like buying parts from ebay, rather buy from ford or the local motor factors... and iv found out its electric and heated, no powerfold

repaired the old unit as a temporary measure and found that where the mounting screw goes through the door has been pulled out so the bottom of the mirror isnt flush with the door

ive got a 2006 1.8tdci with electric and heated...not powerfold and no indicator....priced one up at ford as i did a bit of bad reversing.£75. it add loads more if you got power fold/indicator.

priced one up at work and it came up to £88.87 inc VAT... but a spec of one jag that i was working on got me thinking, is it possible to retro fit powerfold mirrors. my dad found loads of non genuine for mirror assembly on ebay and found that the electric, heated and power folds units were cheaper than the ones with only heated/electric.

i gather ill need the mirror assemblies, drivers switch pack and possible door harness.

Someone has done it but i believe it was a massive job! If you wanted to you could use parts of a mondeo st as this has powerfold mirrors! (I miss my ST:()
