rdimatt
Hello, I have a Ford Fiesta 2003 1.6 Ghia and when i accelerate over 3000 rpm I get a ticking noise that goes to more of a one tone as i get to 3200 rpm, the car has done > 85000 miles, does anybody know what could be causing this? The noise is coming from around the engine somewhere but i'm unable to pin point exactly where its coming from. The noise also makes the same noise when im not in gear, so i assume this means its not a clutch issue. Thanks in advance
Stoney871
It could be your alternator bearings or your cam tensioner bearing.
