After Completing 3000 miles in new focus my auto stop/start not working now after putting car into main dealer Wednesday they recharged battery and was told to buy a trickle charger because of low mileage is not charging battery I have had car 6 months and rather confused by this statement any ideas????

    Your Auto Stop/Start requires a fully charged battery , and as winter arrives you will find it less usable due to using heated screens, blowers and lights on more.

    Mine is the same , and mostly works during day time hours , but if i have lights , headed screen or heated seats on then it does not operate , i'm not too bothered to be honest , less wear and tear on my started motor :)
