Mk7 Drivers Seat Not Moving Back And Fourth

Can any help or advise on the following:

I move the drivers seat forward to key a passenger in the car, but now the seat won't move back is locked in the forward position. I have checked and made sure the tracks are clear and have tried forcing if back but appears completely jammed. Any ideas on how fix this issue or is a case of getting a tow back to the garage???

    Are u trying to move it back with the handle under the seat or just folding the seat to move it back

    Hmmm that's a tricky one as I would have aside the cables broken but not sure if the handle has a cable
