I know it says 2007 so I contacted the seller and he says it will work fine. However I'm not so trusting so I thought ask you guys for help.

Will this work with my car, and as long as I have 2 keys already I can programme it myself?

What type of key blade do you have?

To add the key to the car you need an Auto Locksmith to cut and programme the key to your car via IDS (through your car data port)

Ahhh right, I was under the impression you could program it yourself? Did that change with my model of fiesta?

I believe it changed about 2004, not certain, but Ford removed the self programming ability- why give away something they can charge stupid money for?

May just get a quote to program a key I've already brought.

Just to confirm for anyone that is interested, it is possible to program your own key to the immobiliser. Using the key I linked in my op, I got it cut at my local timpsons for £7. Took my 2 spare keys and the newly cut key back to the car and followed this post:

Now I have one master, one spare remote, one remote flip key.
