Tailgate Switch With Integrated Number Plate Light

Featured Replies

At dealership the weekend and noticed when looking at the new bmax.

That the tailgate switch had a LED strip integrated for the number plate.

Thinking possible MOD?

Of course will be more expensive than changing the lamps in current light holders.

Thoughts.........

Below is standard switch we have.

If it's the same size, I'd suppose it'd be a straight fit if you could get a wire in to light it up.

That's what I'm thinking, i've tried 2 sets of W501 led's they tend to fail after a few months.

Due to the turning on and off using the key. Dimming I guess.

This maybe a better solution, just wondering if other models have it and someone can give some info of this.
