Can anyone reccomend a touch screen head unit for my mk2 focus. It's the one with the square double din cut out cheers guys

    Depends what your after sat nav etc and how much you want to pay I,ve got a Zeneca in mine but they cost 750+ but it is a spot on unit can't fault it suppose you get what you pay for so hard to give advice on some on here like the pioneers but not sure on price .

    Say your best bet is one of those Chinese jobs off eBay for that money not sayin there good or bad not heard much about them they look ok on the surface but reliability.? Maybe someone on here has on and can tell you more.

    Just some advice but don't go near the likes of xtrons. Heard nothing but horror stories.

    What exactly do you want from it? Just a nice looking touch screen that plays dvds and can plug your ipod into? Or do you want bluetooth as well?

    My Missus has just bought me a 200quid pioneer cause it suits all my needs. But will need a 70quid fitting kit. Or if you need bluetooth they do the same model but with bluetooth for an extra 50quid.

    But if you want satnav built in for the 250 mark forget it. For satnav your talking closer to a grand at least and really want what steads has got.

    As Charlie said, you'll need a different radio fascia, aerial adaptor (if not included with the kit), a loom adaptor and usually a steering remote interface too.

    Sometimes also, the supplied cages are too deep for the dash so a shorter one than usually comes with the radio is needed too.
