Uncomfy Seats

Featured Replies

Hi,

I own a 60 plate base spec diesel fiesta and I find the headrests push my neck forward and can really make it ache on a longer journey. They also just feel really hard, make your bum numb after a while!

Wondering if anybody else finds this or is it because of the base level seats?

Is it possible to change the seats for some nicer ones?

Thanks

Sam

If you were to fit both a seat and back rest pad then you'd be further away from the headrest and have a more natural neck posture and hopefully alleviate your numb bum too.

Ah, that sounds like that could be a good plan! I will give it a shot!

Just out of interest, is it possible to fit different seats?

Alright, that looks fantastic, I will look into those and see how it all goes!!

Thanks for all the help

Yes I find the seats get uncomfortable and that's in a titanium. The leather in my old mk 6.5 was better.

My other half had the same problem with the headrest in the focus pushing her head forward, a cushion in the back cured the problem, an alternative is to take the headrest out and turn the headrest round to face the other way, but that may have insurance implications in a crash as the forward facing design is to prevent whiplash. Apparently the headrest design is a bigger problem in the Honda range of cars.
