Blood, Fleas And Cat Pee...

Featured Replies

Ideas for getting the aforementioned things out of my back seat? Lol.

Not sure on the fleas existing but I don't particularly want munching on as I go about my day-to-day life, the pee and blood definitely do >.< bit wiffy for sure, I've pulled the seats out for now as I never use the back seats, but anyone know how to get the stains and smells out, or am I best just getting new seats?

Thanks :P

At that price, I think so too; think it would cost me more for products that might not even work, and the seats are really badly stained and smell lol

I'd love to put leather seats in mine...can you get heated seats for the Fez I wonder...

Yes heated seats were an option. Not sure if anyone's ever retrofitted though.

Some tool ran a cat over in front of me on purpose, broke it's back hip and really badly cut it on it's hind area, as such it became incontinent and scared in my car, good times -.-

Good thing is though the cat should make a full recovery.

a good car valeter should be able to deal with it ! bicarb of soda would remove the smell works a bit like shake and vac but you would have to shampoo seats after

.

I think I would be going to jail after viewing that, as I think I would see about running the guy off the road.

Took all my resolve not to go off on the UK Mail driver at work.

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a major cat lover.

Spent a small fortune bringing my two over from New Zealand.

Go to a good pet store, they usually have a stock of pretty good bio cleaners for upholstery that are effective on car seats and carpets.

I get given a non branded foam spray given to me by work as I'm required to carry my work dogs in my own car when going on duty. (along with boot liners and dog grills.)

If I knew what brand it was I'd let you know.

I tried my cleaners for carpets and such, then used some heavy stuff from the sanctuary I volunteer at, didn't shift it >.< a good deal of the blood came out, but the smell of pee is just deadly. Will pop to the sanctuary again tomorrow when the head guy is in, to see but it may be curtains for the seats. I'll try the bicarb tonight, I have some shampoos!

I've taken the registration number down and I'm reporting to the police tomorrow, I have witnesses and their details too who all saw the person drive into the opposite side of the road to hit the cat, so it's pretty simple.

A strong bicarb mix should work.

Unfortunately there is no legal requirement to report hitting a cat or a dog on the road.

It's animal cruelty still, but you're better off reporting it to the RSPCA, they will carry through a prosecution if the act was deliberate.

Can't it be brought under damage to property legally though? RSPCA are going to be involved too, I'll have him somehow :P

There has never been a law concerning running over cats, there used to be with dogs when they had to be licenced but even that has gone now.

As I posted, the only real recourse is to report to the Rspca for cruelty, not peeing on your chips but your local police are unlikely to concern themselves.

While I'm not a cat lover I'd not want to see harm come to one.
