Reversing Camera

Featured Replies

I expect by the topic you already know I am rubbish at driving my beast :)

My 2009 model has a fair few features including the built in Sat Nav / Radio with the touch screen. I know (as my friend has a later model) that the S-MAX can have a parking camera that can be viewed on this touch screen.

Does anyone know if this is available after the car has been built? I have seen various after market reversing cameras but they all require a separate monitor. None of this is a problem but I was looking for something a little more integrated. So i thought i would ask here.

Great forum btw, helped me make the choice buying my 2009 model and have been very happy.

Thanks in advance for any help.

There are versions of the satnav with and without the video input for the reversing camera. If no camera was installed from factory, you would not have the one with the input. Replacing the satnav with another (new) one is a very costly proposition.
