Help Needed - Name Of Missing Part In Engine Bay

Featured Replies

Dear Ford Owners

The plastic part which connects the air hose to the front grille of the car as it is missing in my fiesta mk 6 and so the rubber hose is just hanging on its own.

I dont however have any idea what the part is called so cant order a replacement. I've attached a picture with an arrown pointing to the missing part.

If anyone could let me know what it is then I'd be very grateful!!

Many thanks in advance

Alex

I thought it just had a jubilee clip on it to stop the flexible pipe coming of or is that that you means missing. It should look like a metal ring with a screw in on end of it

Hi Guys, thanks for your responses.

It not a jubilee clip its the actualy part the rubber hose connects to. I propably wasnt clear enough in my post but the picture I posted is not of my car but of one from the internet - the arrow points to the plastic part which is missing.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ah so the thing the arrows pointing at is the part you wantLooks to be the of the air feed as it comes out the top of the grill

On my 1.4 it looks a little different to the 1.3, but from what i see there the bit you a

want is the same the name of it no idea, try searching for an air intake cowl, or call your local ford dealer and explain what you want, they will tell you the part name and the price, just dont buy it from them, and for what it is i would try a scrapyard it shouldnt cost you more than £15, and i wouldnt worry too much it doesnt do alot as long as the flexi pipe is facing forwarss and is getting air your laughing.
