Fiesta Boot Problem

The boot on my 08 plate Fiesta will not open using the key fob or the push button on the dash,only when i put the key in the lock.The lights are flashing as normal when i press the button on the fob,the only thing its not doing is opening.Help!

    Does the latch make any noise when you use the buttons?

    heck the wiring is secure , first then check for power , if you have power there when your press the button then the actuator has failed and will need replacing
