New To Her 59 Plate Fiesta Style

Hello.

Sister has just turned up at my house in her newly acquired Fiesta Style, 5 door, 17 and a half thousand miles on a 59 plate, main dealer purchased. Understand the car is a 1.25 (82bhp) and presume that it is a Mk 7.

Car is a basic model, not having many of the bells and whistles ( ie aircon ) found on the posher models. Rear door windows are not powered, mirrors do not power fold etc, etc.

Can anyone please give me a " heads up " on known problems which might be experienced, regular failure items, things to grease, oil or keep an eye on in general?

    You are correct in that being a 59 plate, it will almost certainly be what the community know as the MK7.

    Check out some of the well-known review sites, they often have a good indication of "what to look out for":

    I never had any problems with my MK7, but I know a few people had door seal issues, etc.
