My 1.4 fiesta is 4 years old with 40,000 miles and due its second MOT next week. Are there anycommon failure items I should look at before submitting the car.

    Jus had mine in for second mot 1.4 titanium petrol 2009. Similar mileage 39000. only advisorys where tyres at front and brake pads which I have just replaced. They had about 1-2mm left on them.

    Had my second MOT, around 36,000 miles, didn't have any advisories even though my last service was around 16k miles.
