Fiesta Tdci 08

Featured Replies

Hi have just bought my 1st diesel fiesta 08 with only 19k on the clock.

I have read of a few problems with the injectors / seals. Does this happen in the minority or majority of cases and is there anything I can do to help prevent this from happening?

Be kind my 1st post by an excited new ford owner.

Thanks in Advance

Spiderham

Hi welcome to the club. Its no a common fault on fiestas as far as im aware it could just be down to it not being used an awful lot 19k miles on an 08 diesel is fairly decent lol. Where abouts in Ayrshire are you from?

i have heard its fairly common on the 1.4 tdci engine which i believe is a french import.

Welcome, 19k on the clock is amazing for an 08... I've done that in mine in 2 years!

As for the engine it's not something i've heard about, keep it serviced and treat her like you would a lady and you should be fine. :)
