Tinted Windows?

Featured Replies

Hello people...

Is it possible for me to go to my local TCH Ford Garage and say to them, Can I have black tinted windows on my 2006 Ford Focus hatchback...?

Kind Regards.

George Hartas.

I'm sure you could go anywhere and ask that but Ford normally only Factory fit when building the cars. If they are asked to tint the windows on a used car or after it has been built and delivered they would get a local guy in to do it and then mark up the price significantly. You may as well source someone yourself and get it done rather than go through Fords.

The other thing to bear in mind is your insurance company are likely to treat it as a modification and may want to increase the premium and if your under 25 they may not insure you. Best check it out first.
