Passenger Side Wheel Bearing Fiesta Zetec Mk5 (04) Cost

Featured Replies

Hi gents,

I need my passenger side wheel bearing replaced on a Fiesta Zetec MK5 (04) and have been quoted by a garage £180 for parts, labour and wheel alignment.

Does this seem expensive? I was expecting a quote around £100 (£40-50 for the part and £50-60 labour).

Any advice appreciated.

Does seem abit expensive im sure when I had mine done it was only about £110 or something like that

It depends on what brand/quality parts they are using, but lets say £40 for the bearing, £60 labour and £30 wheel alignment = £130

£180 does seem a bit steep, is that an independent or a dealer?

oh and welcome to the forums :)

Thanks for the advice all, I'll phone about and see what others quote. £180 quote was from National Tyres.

Thanks!
