Hi Guys

A couple of months ago I cleaned and adjusted my rear brakes, as the hand brake was usless. Once I had done this it was perfect for about a month, however in the last month the hand brake is coming up high again and not nearly as good as it was.

Is there a knowen issue with the brake adjusters?

Should I buy new ones from ford?

Any one know how much these are?

    dont want to keep having to disturb the wheel bearings every month :(

    I didnt notice,

    I fitted a new fitting kit a while ago, but the small spring on the adjuster wasnt changed....

    Was thinking about buying new adjusters, I assume they would come with new springs.......and an outragious price tag...

    Called ford to looking for prices of the rear adjusters.........£62 + vat for a 'kit' :blink:

    Im hoping a kit is an axel set i.e. a pair.......

    Anyway I have adjusted the brakes again....So fingers crossed for now
