Wheel Grease

Hi guys quick question

Hoping to finnally get round to painting me brake callipers whilst am off work next week and thaught while iv got me alloys off the car it would be beneficial to grease them up berfore they weld themselves on like my old alloys. Anyways where do i grease up and can anyone recomend a decent grease.

I use copper ease on the threads not 100% sure if this is correct but ever since I had a wheel I could not undo I have done this and they have not seized. See what other's say..

yup as above, copper grease is the best/cheapest stuff to use.

You only need to grease the area that the wheel comes into contact - make sure both the drum/hub and wheel are free of dirt and loose rust or paint.

Do not apply a thick layer of grease as it will be thrown off and cover the inside of your wheels and generally make a mess.

I tend to grease threads also, again just a light coating is sufficient

Well its booked in on tuesday for a free wheel alignment and suspension check so be interesting to see if they try and blag me its all ready to brake haha
