bit of an update, on the return journey from cumbria (nice place) it ticked over to 17,000 miles :D

been too long since the last mod, so bought some custom heater control knobs to fit, ive also bought a replacement sub switch which has a blue led instead of red which i will pick up tomorrow and get swapped over,

for the next mod i have a couple of options, either the gas strut bonnet lifters or the clear rear lens with dual reverse, ive also been thinking about getting a clear high level rear brake light (not liking the red) so on the look out for 1 of them.

Seek and ye shall find.

How do you do it I searched for the brake light but sidnt find much, already got the lens saved m8 waiting on the wiring before I nuy the lens

been busy spending again oops haha bought the items listed above including the clear rear third brake light, also the LHD clear lens, and finally a reducing cable grommet to fit my new switch from overclockers for my sub which will be blue, i had bought a blue 1 but bought the wrong 1 so need to take t back and swap

also working on another mod, ive not seen done before, it wont add any beneficial gains but will add some colour to the area

also removed a front part of the air intake, and can definitely notice an increase in torque, however found out i couldn't get my bonnet open today, must of knocked the cable when i removed the item

could you take a pic of what you mean with regards to the air intake and torgue increase i would like to do this :P ...

I dont have definite prove it increase torque but you can definitely feel more response from the engine (and sounds nicer)

thats not a problem if its not toooo much .. i guess it will be a trial and error :P

Well its reversible anyway tge the part can be put back on if you change ya mind,

thats what i was thinking.... :)

this is the part of the induction system i removed

to remove it open ya bonnet, remove the front plastic piece with the 4 screws

then undo a bolt either side of the part, using a T30 allen key

once the screws are out it will be free however still attached to the airbox, it takes a good hard tug to pull it off, be careful when doing this as not to disturb the locking cable, (this is where i think i broke mine resulting in me not being able to open my bonnet)

REMEMBER to either keep the bolts safe somewhere in ya house etc or put them back in the holes and screw in tightly

(i put the screws back in and did them up tight and they are still in there strong)

I will be watching very carefully

the part is on order should arrive some time next week, i must say tho this mod is purely cosmetic, it has no performance values

should brighten up the engine bay a little hopefully

sounds good vince B) and the focus engine bay needs brightening up to with all the plastic in there. :(

that's what I want to do with my engine bay once the out side is all done :)
