Ford Fusion 1.6 Cambelt Snapped.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

New here :-). Just need a bit of information if anybody has had the same unfortunate luck as me and had there cambelt snap bending all 16 valves :-). The reason for the cambelt snapping was a failed crankshaft pulley.

Any how I have got all the parts to repair the car

16 new valves

Cambelt kit

New pulley

New head gasket and head bolts

Oil and filter

After all that boring stuff my question is , is £200 labour a good price to repair and fit all these parts and rebuild it all back up ?

I normally do the work myself but not on this occasion :-)

Thanks

Mike.

sorry to hear that, have you change cambelt earlier without changing the pulley.

How many kilometers driven?
