Tdci Airbag Light

Featured Replies

Hi

I own a 2008 Focus 1.8 TDCI, it has been great up to now

problem started this morning, start the car all is fine, no warning lights. Put it in gear an start to move and the airbag warning light comes on and stays on. It doesn't flash, it just stays on.

I do have it booked in at ford next Monday but was wondering whether anybody else could shed some light on what it could be

thankyou

Check that the plugs under the seats are all in porperly. I have a loose plug somewhere under my passenger seat, and mine is a 3 door, so nearly everytime someone moves the seat forward or backwards to access the rear, it dislodges the plug a bit and the light will come on.

Reach under the seat and give all the little plugs a push to make sure they're in right and see if that knocks off the light next time you turn it on.
