Interior Plastics

Featured Replies

I'm looking at getting black interior abc pillars and headlining etc. for my 2009 zetec cause this multi-shade interior is starting to annoy me.

My questions are;

Are there standard black plastics available from ford?

Is there any way to remove the c pillar because the seat belt runs through it?

Yes it can be removed. I've currently got mine off. you would need to release the end of the seatbelt to pass it through completely. Mine is the same colour as yours.

You could always get the pillars vinyl wrapped?

Yeah I'm going to get them sprayed or wrap them, i got the trim off yesterday but how do I release the seat belt at the end?

A member called Ben had his 'flocked', that looked really good.

Seatbelt should bolt into the floor under the seat? I have a van so cant confirm?

Yeah I've seen flocked dash's an they look quite good but its not cheap. I'm thinking of maybe wrapping them in alcantara

Ok cheers I'll have a look for the bolt tomorrow

Take a picture please of the lower belt mounting? I'm interested to learn if the bolt holes are on the van.
