spindizzy Posted April 25, 2013 Share Posted April 25, 2013 I have a very new focus 1.6 tdci econetic. Generally love it but since new it taps a bit like a noisy tappet when slowing down in gear. Its not horrendous but noticeable, not there at all under power or ticking over. I wondered if it was dumping excess rail pressure or something or some kind of injector noise. 3000 miles now.
