Hi. Thinking of buying a 2012 zetec s tomorrow. Trading in Mini Cooper s. just wondering what sort of mileage I can expect. Although its got to be better than my mcs. Still a little apprehensive. Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advance :).

    What engine are you wanting? 1.6 petrol is 40mpg, diesel is 55mpg on average, though if you're boring like me, the diesel will fetch 65mpg all day long :P

    It's a 1.6 diesel. Need to save some money. Fed up of throwing it away on this Mini. So hoping this fiesta is better. And I love the look of it.

    I did exactly the same went from 2004 mcs to 2009 tdci zetec s to save money. I average 45mpg but I do drive,it like I've stole it.

    Warning tho I miss the power and the sound of the mcs. But when i get my reminder to pay £20 road tax a year I soon forget about all that!

    I now what you mean it's the sound of the mcs I will miss but I won't miss the large amounts mini charge when there are problems.

    Nice to know I'm not the only one I drive mine like I stole it and get 44mpg with 17" wheels on 50mpg with the 16s on
