crimeblitz1
ok, just fitted my gel overlays on my ford badges on my 2010 focus zetec s. the front badge went on fine no trouble. The rear existing ford logo was a bit different though. It was 3desque which confused me. its like there should be a clear dome over the top of the original badge to match the front but there wasn't one there. can anyone tell me if that's normal? it had the blue background and the silver ford lettering was slightly raised out of it so if you drag you finger over it it would catch on the letters where as the front one had a smooth finish all over. is this normal??? I assumed it was at the time so I carried on and stuck my gel overlay on it but now ive been thinking about it it has been bugging me. Im now hoping the gel badge doesn't fall off as its only held on by the face of the ford lettering and a bit round the edge I guess
TDCiST
Mine is similar. The DMB Overay is now slightly raised with the lettering in the same place too... I didnt worry about it.
crimeblitz1
ah excellent, thanks. I was just worried about water getting in behind and weakening it but it stuck like s to a blanket after I heated it up so hopefully it will be ok
