Having finished my law degree 2 weeks ago (on for a 2:1, results late June) I was enjoying my freedom and enjoying a brief spending spree. I just bought a new iPad and a pair of Tag-Heuer glasses and all was well, 56 & 61 mpg were seen on the fuel computer, happy days...

Then the two niggles/faults occurred! Firstly, after a long-ish journey at 70, the bonnet has a tendency to unfasten. It doesn't open fully but I have to lift it to close it again and yet it latches securely. I thought that my foot must be catching the release handle on exit but no, it still does it!

Secondly, the front passenger footwell carpet has peeled away from the materials underneath. Not wet in the slightest but has peeled away significantly.

I have rung TCH and booked it in. Anyone encountered these problems before?

    Had another look at the carpet whilst cleaning the car today. It just looks like it was never stuck down properly. Very poor quality and seems flimsy so hopefully they will make a better job of repairing it. Any other new fez owners noticed any carpet issues?

    No further bonnet developments.
