Abs Light On

Featured Replies

Hello all, daughter has been saying recently that when she drives her 2007 fiesta 1.4 about ten yards she hears a ping, like a spring shooting out, been happening all week but today the Abs light came on, don't know if there related but will check resistance on sensors.

Anyone any ideas, just hope its not the abs unit.

it

It keeps blowing the thirty amp abs fuse

The ping could be the Anti-lock breaking system kicking in. If this safety feature is failing it would be time to get it looked at. It could also be something electrical (blowing fuses) with wiring and/or sensor's.

Thanks stewie, taking it to auto tech this morning. Reckon the unit is faulty. He says its very common on fiestas
