I have a 2.5 estate (swept back headlamps model) and ask for advice

1) I need to remove the nearside rear door trim to fix the lock (it's very noisey when locking), not too sure what tools, nor where clips and/or screws are etc; has anybody got any pictures or done the job themselves.

2) The rear bumper has 3 water drain slots, the one on the nearside is only pin hole wide and gets blocked very quickly, whilst the other 2 are decent slots, is this difference in slots normal or is it a manufacturing defect; and what will be damaged if I drill the slot out a bit bigger.

3) The engine is the Zetec 1.6 16v jobby, 100PS and it seems as though the valve clearances need doing, if so how often and is it easy.
