Engine Hesitation At High Speed, Cutting Out At Low Speed/idol

My 2007 Focus 1.6 tdci is suffering from ongoing hesitation/misfire at cruising speeds on motorway, and cutting out at idle. Dpf filter and egr valve have been replaced recently, and while improved mpg,intermittent problems have returned and now if cuts out at low speed two. No fault codes showing and garage cannot replicate fault. Exhaust gases hot and restricted too. Any advice please?
