Hi there,

My name is Kevin and I have a Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCI.

Sometimes when I am changing from 1st to 2nd gear, it's as if I am riding the cluch because the car revs after gear change and the cars forward momentum is interrupted and jolts slightly.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced issues like this and if so, what should I do?

I love my car but just want her to run like the dream I know she can!

    could be the MAF / MAP sensor, or the ICV but less likely to be the latter. Ideally you would want to take these sensors off and give them a good clean.

    Is it only first and second gear? if so you could be due an oil change in the gearbox...
