Radio Problem (Getting It To Work)

Featured Replies

Hi All, got a new (2nd hand ) Fiesta 1.4 TDCI Style 2006 today, the radio WAS working ok until a certain child (grandson) decided to push the buttons on the radio. On the screen I now have the word PHONE , on the left of the screen and the time on the right. The radio is a 6000cd. can anyone help & tell me how to get the radio working again please. Also does anyone want a grandchild named FINGERS ? free to a good home before I throttle the little sod. fortunately i can wave goodbye to him tomorrow. Its grand seeing the grandkids but its even grander when the door hits them on the backside on their way out  :D

Pressing the phone button on radios without Bluetooth modules attached purely mutes the radio.

Press the button with the phone handset shaped icon again or the one marked AM/FM and you'll be fine.

The only thing I can suggest just now, until someone who knows what they are speaking about comes along :) , is to try pressing the 'PHONE' button again.

The little darling is now snoring his head off, dont they look so nice asleep, the only problem with that is we dont know what the little swine is dreaming about !!!!!!

He's scheming as what to put his sticky little mitts on in your car next.

I recommend boxing gloves and good child restraints. :d

Mine played postman pat with his lego, unfortunately the letter box happened to be the video recorder.

I've lost count of the times I had to strip it down before I could play a video

Funnily enough when I was a kid I was prescribed Boxing Gloves at night in bed but it wasnt for playing with a car radio :lol::lol: as for child restraints mine consist of putting said child in my Daughters car not mine

Too much info, bet it stopprd the fiddling though ;)

Someone else's car is always the best option.
