Seatbelt Chimes When Driving

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've got a 2009 fiesta and have an issue with the seat belt chime or sensor. Basically it keeps going off when driving but I have my seatbelt on. There is nothing on the passenger front seat. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the part the seat belt clicks into but it is still happening.

I'm assuming it is the sensor that is where the problem is... Under the seat is a fuse which I am assuming is for the seatbelt sensor and also the air bag sensor. I don't want to remove the fuse for the obvious reason of the air bag, but would it be ok to remove/disconnect the seatbelt sensor cable from the fuse? and if so, which one is it?

thank you in advance.....

Darren

Perhaps it's a fault with the passenger side...
