Fuel Pump / Sender Unit

Featured Replies

Does any one know if the fuel pump / sender unit from a mk1 1.6 is the same as a mk1 2litre.

think so, as long as they are the same size tank they should be the same unit...

I know some have the fuel filter as part of the sender unit even the 1.6 uses two different types i would just go like for like

The 1.6 it came off had filter outside tank, and mine has filter outside tank, do you know if the tanks are the same, as i have a brand new tank in my shed from a 1.6.

I may as well just swap the whole tank, as i cant be arsed cleaning mine out, there is all sludge in tank.

i believe the tanks are the same onlky checking them next to each other would say but ford use the same manufactured mass produced tanks from one car to the other
