I have a Mondeo 2009 with the Ford Navigation System (Blaupunkt I think). When I start the car in the morning the navigation system works, as in it displays the roads. However when I leave work in the evening the navigation system doesn't display the roads, just the circle fir my position, it does however display the road names at the top. This has now been happening for the past week. I have ejected the cd and cleaned it but still having the issue. Any ideas?

    Is it struggling to pick up your position at the office? if you restart the car mid journey does it pick you up?

    or is it that the location is detected, but the maps are not loaded in the evening to show the road your sat on?

    Hi and thanks for your reply. I'm at home now and just started the car and it hasn't picked up the maps. Sounds strange but just seems to be an evening thing. Location is detected and street name shows at top but the screen for the maps are blank, it just shows position of my car
