I'm a Diesel fan and have been looking at the stats for the 1.6 and 1.8 TDCi's are noticed there's not a lot of different between them (according to Parkers), but just wondered which one you guys prefer? I've seen a few reviews online, the 1.6 having DPF issues but cheap tax and the 1.8 being bomb proof but is a 'relic'.. but given the choice, which would you/have you gone for?

Most people I believe on the forum would recommend the 1.8 due the DPF issue on the 1.6

as im a tipical petrol head and the deasal is what i had to go for then honestly you carnt put a price on relyability so the 1.8 wins me pluss the turbo should be a litle bit stronger so yep the 1.8 wins me over
