Ford Fiesta Boot Dimensions

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm considering getting a Mk7 Fiesta and have two questions, if you could please help me out.

I play a lot of golf, and often leave my clubs in my car (along with trolley and shoes etc) during working hours to play straight after I finish. Is the boot large enough to take a set of clubs in a normal sized cart bag (Mizuno Aerolite) without folding the back seats down? I've looked everywhere to try to find dimensions of the boot but Ford don't seem to publish them, and forums often only describe the volume which isn't what I require. Does anyone have the dimensions, or could someone please measure their boot? :-)

Secondly, I'm looking at either the Zetec S or Titanium X (125ps). I've driven the Titanium X and loved it, thought it was amazing, however I prefer the exterior styling of the Zetec S (though the lack of Sony audio unit inside is a bit of a shame) so what's the best bet? Is the sports suspension good, or will it put my spine out of place on a pot holed English country lane? Will I miss the electronic climate control?

Many thanks in advance,

Matt

Hi Matt,

The fiesta boot isnt bad, but I think you might struggle to get that lot in there... I did a quick search and came up with this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ford-Fiesta-1547529-Genuine-Anti-Slip/dp/B00CPJ012G

which has dimensions of 120 x 115 x 3 cm so that might well help you work it out :)

Well it doesn't look like it without the seats folded after seeing this:

Hi guys,

Thanks for the responses - I saw one of those boot liners on Amazon but it didn't have the dimensions, so I appreciate that James!

Jim - I can't see that video on my work computer for some reason, and being flash it doesn't work on my iphone...is it the video from YouTube of the guy putting 2 sets of clubs in the boot of his fiesta with the rear seats folded?

Has anyone got any input on the sports suspension on the Zetec S?

Thanks,

Matt

I think best bet is to get a titanium and put a zetec S kit on it :)

Could do that! Almost the best of both worlds, however you don't get the sports suspension or the black grille :-(

The black grille is also something you can put on after..

To be honest, I think I prefer the Titanium grille to the ZS grille. Looks more defined rather than looking like a gaping hole in low light.
