Just wondering if a 3 door headliner would fit a 5 door focus, both MK2, looking at car dimensions on auto trader they seem to be the same size??

actually mate it was from a 5 door as it come with all the 5 door pillars, just happened to be a low spec st as it didnt have the vanity or rear courtesy lights which i'm gonna fit myself

but yeah a 3 door liner will fit a 5 door fine, you'll just have trouble getting the 5 door pillars

It will just be the B pillars? if so I am sure I can source some, may take a while but I can put up with it till then.

How was it fitting your headliner?

More than just the rear windows cause remember the rear tear wondows are different shape too.

I actually got everything for 140quid so bit of a bargain.

Lining is easy, remove grab handles, visors, lights etc. Remove a + b pillars. The boot pillars dont need to be completly removed just unscrewed pulled away a bit. Then the old liner will be free too untuck from door seals n drop down.

Pull out from the rear n put the new one in

push up in place n start !Removed! everything back in

the courtesy light looms and rear washer pipe will be glued to liner but easily cut the glue off without damaging either

dont need to glue back to new liner its not neccessary

I have only paid £45 for my headliner it comes with the map lights sun visors lights under sun visors light in rear grab handles and all trim for a three door so as long as I source the trim I should have a bargain.

Hoping to get it fitted this weekend as well as some other stuff so will update the thread with pics

Oh yeah i got my tailgate trims with it too n even boot carpets

You could always just spray your current b pillars matt back or summin n clear coat it. It would be easy enough n be alright even just temporary till you source proper ones

I haven't got the slightest of a clue, was on the look out for a new headliner as mine is shot (Long story)

Did a bit of searching found one asked what it came with asked how much and it was a done deal at £45.

Whats diff with the boot carpets?

May vinyl wrap the pieces of hydro dip them temp, waiting on a reply tho as the same guy has said he may have the black trim of a 5 door so fingers crossed.

why dont you spray the trims black or carbon wrap/carbon dip them to be different?
