Shuriken
Hello,I have 2000 Ford Fiesta Mk4 (facelifted) and recently I've found out that there is a little puddle in one of my fog lights. I took the water out, but it was a little bit green, so it left a stain. Is there a way to open the fog light, so I can wipe off the stain? DanGersFord
Probably better off buying a new unit to be honest cause it'll just end up going rhe same way cause its not sealed

Shuriken
I found a way to open the fog light and I wiped off the stain. But I got another question. Is it possible to connect both front and rear fog lights to one switch? My car didn't came with front fog lights, they were added afterwards, so it doesn't have the front fog lights switch. Jake90087
You could buy a switch off of eBay and wire it in. I believe the harness will accept it. Also a new fog light is needed. It won't be sealed and will let water in.
Shuriken
I was searching for the switch everywhere, so my last hope was the official Ford dealership in my country. I called them today and they said it will cost around 30 euros, brand new. Seems a lot to me, for simple switch. Sadly, eBay is not an option because customs duty is pretty high where I live.Same story with the fog light. 100 euros at the official Ford dealership, for one piece. I might look for used, but that would be hard, since those facelifted models are kinda rare here.Kind of complicated story, but thanks for replying. Jake90087
That is okay, why the forum is here. What country are you in also? And in some countries like the U.K The MK 4 facelift is known as the MK 5. Take a look at a scrapyard also. There can be good deals there for nearly new parts.
Shuriken
I'm from Macedonia, older Fiestas aren't that popular here, so there aren't many used spare parts. I'll have to visit few scrap yards, maybe I'll get lucky.Yeah, I know that in UK some people refer to the facelifted Mk4 when they say Mk5, but to be honest, that doesn't make much sense, since it's basically the same model with minor facelift. But I guess it's more popular term than "facelifted Mk4", so I might have to get used to it.

Hello and yes everything from a main dealership is overpriced and very expensive, a good way to get the exact same item cheaper is to ask the dealership for the item number if you feel they are over charging you then take the item number with you and check to see if other part stores have the same item. I went to the main dealership for a reverse light sensor and they said it would cost me £44 so I asked for the part number and went to a different parts store and got it for 1/3rd the price. My car cost me £250 so paying £44 for a tiny item that only turns the reverse light on was way over priced in my mind.
